Neem belongs to a mahogany family, Meliaceae. The scientific name for Neem is Azadirachta indica. It is also called by the following names; Indian Lilac, Margosa tree, nim, crackjack, paradise tree or white cedar. It is a fast growing tree which is native to Burma in India. Neem tree have got leaves that are broad and evergreen. It can growth up to 30 m tall and 2.5 m in girth and live up to 150 to 200 years. The whole plant can be used in different ways, but the leaves are the most used worldwide. Neem is rich in sodium, Potassium, Salt, Chlorophyll, Calcium, Nicocin, Vitamin C, Carotone and Oxalic Acid.
