Aloe Vera is an evergreen plant which is a succulent plant. Originally its from the Arabian Peninsula, but it grows wild in most tropical climates and cultivated for agricultural and several medicinal uses. The plant can also be grown indoors as a potted plant for decoration. The word Aloe Vera is derived from the Arabic word ” Alloeh” meaning “shinning bitter susbtance, ” and vera means “true” in Latin. The Egyptians called Aloe Vera “the plant of immortality.”
